Grand-Slam aged 15 months sold for 4200gns at the NIHBA Premier Sale in January after being awarded the Reserve Championship. He was sold to join Des Kelly’s Mullin herd, which is one of the largest herds in Northern Ireland. Grand-Slam weighed 685kg at a year old, the heaviest bull we had bred to date. He was Male Champion at NIHBA Calf show (see show success page). He is sired by Dynamite and his dam is ‘Starlet B18’ who bred ‘Starlet E7’ who was shown in 2009. Grand-Slam has impressive EBV’s being in the Top 1% for 200 Day Weight, Retail Beef Yield and Terminal Index. |

Geronimo was the Male Champion at the Autumn Sale in Hereford in 2011. He went on to top the sale selling for 6200gns. He was N.I. Bull of the Year in 2011 after remaining unbeaten in his class throughout the year. He is sired by Dynamite and sold with a Terminal Index figure in the Top 5% of the breed. His dam Starlet R33 is our the oldest cow in the herd and is still going strong at 13 years old. Her grand son Ferrari was sold to Genus last year. |

G6 was Female Champion at the Autumn Sale in Hereford 2011 and was the top priced female at 4400gns. She was Reserve N.I. Female of the Year and half of this year’s N.I. Progeny pair of the Year. She was Supreme Champion at Castlewellan show and is one of our best heifers born by Dynamite. G6’s dam bred Cruiser sold for an N.I. record price at 3800gns N.I.H.B.A. Premier Sale 2008. She sold with figures are in the Top 10% of the breed for Terminal Index and Self Replacing Index. |

G5 and G12 both sold for 2200gns, the top prices in the for sale only section at the Hereford Autumn Sale 2011. Both are sired by Dynamite and sold in calf to Fisher 1 Charlie. |

Gilbert sold at the Autumn Sale in Hereford to DE, ED & AL Jones, Dendor Herefords, Wales. He had been group reared at grass all summer along with 8 other yearling bulls and was only pulled in for feeding 4 weeks prior to the week of the sale. He sold in the Top 5% of the breed for his weights, milk and both TSI & SRI indexes. His dam Pansy D3, a 3/4 sister to Dynamite, was 1st in her class at NI National 2008 and is a very dark, muscular cow and D3’s full sister Pansy C4 was 1st in the cow class N.I. National 2011 in a strong class of 6 cows. Gilbert’s sire Christies 1 Radar has left us some excellent progeny.

Handsome sold for the top price of 3800gns at the NIHBA Premier sale at Dungannon. 16 month old Handsome had earlier won the youngest bull class in the pre sale judging. He sold to the NCBC for their A.I. stud at Enfield in Co. Meath. Dam Starlet C3 is also the dam of Ferrari sold to Genus A.I. stud. Handsome is our first son of Fisher 1 Charlie offered for sale and carried a figure in the top 1% of the breed for Calf Ease Direct. |

General was Reserve Champion at the NIHBA Premier Sale and sold for 2700gns, the 3rd top price. His dam, Dainty W7 has been one of our most prolific bull breeders with Bonanza sold to FS Herefords, Scotland & Cantona to Rough Moor Herefords, Herefordshire as well as Firecracker, sold to Aberkin AI Centre in Spain. General is sired by Dynamite. |
