Flame lights up January Sale!

The NIHBA Premier Sale proved to be a memorable one for Solpoll Herefords. Champion and Reserve came from the youngest bull class with Solpoll 1 Flame the first son of Dynamite being 1st and Champion and Solpoll 1 Eager our last son of Panmure 1 Alexander being 2nd and Reserve Champion. The winner of the Senior class was Solpoll 1 Eric, the first bull offered out of Solpoll 1 Cantona with Solitude 1 Exciting another Cantona son owned by Andrew winning the intermediate class. The Female Championship went to Solpoll 1 Pansy E11 with Solpoll 1 Starlet E19 finishing Reserve. Therefore all our six cattle won first or second prizes claiming all the Championship awards!

 

Flame then went on to top the Sale selling for 3000gns. While Starlet E19 returned home with us from the sale we sold her later that evening to leave us with an average of £2100 for six cattle to conclude a solid days trading.

Genus buy Ferrari!

Solpoll 1 Ferrari has been sold to Genus ABS which is believed to be the first time a Northern Ireland bred Hereford has been sold to an AI company in Great Britain. More details on the Sales Page.
